Dear Brookview Families,

We will be dedicating the week of May 5th-9th to those who make a difference in our children's daily lives-our Brookview Teachers! They devote countless hours of love, patience, support and guidance, so that our children are able to reach their fullest potential. Everyone is encouraged to help!

Studio Programs-

Dance, Ceramics & Guitar

Due to Holidays and School Events, some dates will be skipped and some phases may have fewer sessions than others. If a program has less than the normal 6 sessions, the program price will be pro-rated. Supply cost will remain the same.


Dance offered by Sarah Rabbers of Dance Arts Studio

Creative Movement: Dance that explores movement of all kinds for all ages. This will encourage their imagination and further dance education. Class limit  is 12 students.



Primary Ages 3-6 Tuesday's/Time 3:00-4:00 PM

Phase 2 Dance Class

Dates are: December 3, & 10. January 7, 14, 21, & 28. Note: January 7 class was cancelled due to school closing. The class will be rescheduled for February 4th which will  complete Phase 2. The January 28 class that was cancelled is rescheduled for February 11th.

Phase 3 Dance Class

Dates are:February 18, & 25. March , 18, & 25. April 8

Note: March 11th, class cancelled.  Make-up Date for March 11 will be April 15.

Phase 4 Dance Class

Dates are: April 22, & 29. May 6, 13, and 20. Only 5 classes for Phase 4. Class will be pro-rated.



Students will start with the basics and work at their own level. Advanced or returning students will build on their acquired knowledge. Class size limit for primary is 6 students. Class size limit for elementary is 8.




Elementary Age Monday's/Time 3:20-4:40 PM

Phase 2

Dates are: December 2, 9, and 16. January 6, 13 and 27. Note: the January 6 class that was cancelled will be rescheduled for February 3rd. The January 27th class that was cancelled due to snow closing will be rescheduled for February 1oth. This will complete Phase 2.

Phase 3

Dates are: February 24. March 10, 17, & 24. April 7 and 14

Phase 4

Dates are: April 28. May 5, 12, & 19. Class is short 2 sessions, price will be pro-rated.


Primary Age Thursday's/Time 3-4 PM

Phase 2

Dates are: December 5, 12, & 19. January 9, 16, 23 

Phase 3

Dates are: February 13, 20, & 27. March 6, 13, & 20.

Phase 4

Dates are: April 10, 17, & 24. May 1, 8, & 15.


Guitar Lessons

School Year

Students will be introduced to basic music theory, history of the instrument, how to tune and care for it as well as the basics for playing the guitar. They will learn vocabulary specific to the guitar including scales, chords, strumming, and picking techniques. Advanced students may eventually be referred to an outside expert. This particular program is  billed directly to the parent like the music lessons.



Primary Age 4-6 -Classes begin on September 30 and will run each Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday throughout the school year except for the following dates:

November 5. December 17, 24, and 31. Feb 11. March 4. April 1. May 27


Note: The Primary and Elementary class for guitar that was cancelled on January 28th has been rescheduled for February 11th.

Sessions for primary will run during the school hours. Lessons are 30 minute intervals. There are 3 time slots per day. A student may be on the waiting list if a preferred space is not available. School hour slots will be:

12:40-1:10, 1:25-1:55, and 2:10-2:40 PM


Elementary Age Tuesday's/Classes begin on October 1 and will run each Tuesday throughout the school year just like the primary age group does. There are two classes for elementary guitar now during afterschool hours of 3:20-3:50 and 4:00-4:30 PM
